Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar
Upon arrival at Srinagar Airport, a representative will meet and transfer you to your hotel for check-in. After a brief rest, enjoy a leisurely Shikara ride on the world-famous Dal Lake in the evening, taking in the serene surroundings and the picturesque views. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Srinagar Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, embark on a full day of sightseeing around Srinagar. Visit the famous Mughal Gardens, including Nishat Bagh, known as the "Abode of Pleasure," built by Asif Khan in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh, constructed by Emperor Jehangir for his wife Noor Jehan. The gardens are beautifully set along the banks of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains as a stunning backdrop. Continue to the Botanical Garden, Royal Spring, and Pari Mahal. En route, visit a carpet-weaving factory to see the traditional craft of Kashmir. After lunch, explore the old city of Srinagar and take a gondola ride up to Akbar Fort. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Day Excursion to Gulmarg
After breakfast, proceed on an excursion to Gulmarg, a scenic drive through roads lined with vibrant white and purple flowers. Upon reaching Gulmarg, explore its many attractions, including the Gulmarg Gondola, Asia’s highest and longest cable car, which takes you up to Kongdoori Mountain near Apharwat Peak. At the summit, enjoy breathtaking views of the snow-covered Himalayas. You can also engage in activities like hiking, horse riding, golfing, and skiing during the winter. Return to Srinagar by evening for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Explore Pahalgam
After breakfast, set out for a full-day excursion to Pahalgam, known as the Valley of Shepherds. En route, stop at the saffron fields in Pampore, famous for producing the best quality Kashmiri saffron for over 2,500 years. Continue to Pahalgam, located on the banks of the Lidder River, a popular location for Bollywood film shoots. On arrival, explore Pahalgam’s attractions and try river rafting on the Lidder River if you are an adventure enthusiast. You can also go horse riding and shop at the local markets. Later, visit the Avantipura Ruins, ancient Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu, and the Anantnag Sulphur Springs. Return to Srinagar for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Beautiful Sightseeing of Sonmarg
After breakfast, head out for a day trip to Sonmarg, approximately 85 kilometers from Srinagar. Explore the beautiful sights of Sonmarg, including visits to Baltal Lake and Thajiwas Glacier, known for their stunning natural beauty and panoramic views. Return to Srinagar in the evening for an overnight stay in a houseboat, experiencing the unique floating lifestyle on Dal Lake.
Day 6: Departure Delights
After breakfast, enjoy some free time for personal activities or last-minute shopping. Later, receive assistance for your transfer to Srinagar Airport to board your flight back home, concluding your memorable Kashmir tour.
