Day 1: Arrival in Phnom Penh
Upon arrival at the Phnom Penh airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel by our local representative. After a short rest, embark on a city tour starting with the impressive Royal Palace complex, a stunning example of Khmer architecture built in 1866. Next, visit the Silver Pagoda, home to numerous Buddha statues adorned with gold, diamonds, and other precious materials. Continue to the Independence Monument and the National Museum, showcasing over 5,000 artifacts of Cambodia's rich cultural heritage. Walk along the riverfront park where four rivers converge, and climb up to Phnom Daun Penh, a sacred hill that gave the city its name. Day 2: Local Sightseeing of Phnom Penh
Start your day with a visit to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, a former prison that now stands as a stark reminder of the Khmer Rouge regime. After this somber experience, head to the vibrant Russian Market to explore the local culture and shop for souvenirs. In the afternoon, transfer to the bus station for a shuttle bus to Siem Reap. Day 3: Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom
Today, explore the magnificent Angkor Wat temple complex, starting with the South Gate of Angkor Thom and the famous Bayon Temple, known for its massive stone faces. Day 6: Departure
This morning, transfer to the airport for your flight back home or to your next destination. If time permits, visit Puok, the original location of Artisans d’Angkor silk production, to learn about the silk-making process and shop for high-quality silk products. Safe travels!
