Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Upon arrival at Hanoi airport, you will be greeted by our local guide who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel. After check-in and a brief rest, we will begin our half-day city tour at Ba Dinh Square, the political heart of Hanoi. Here, we will visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum, his house-on-stilts, fishpond, and the One-Pillar Pagoda. Our tour continues to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university. We’ll then enjoy a one-hour cyclo ride around Hanoi’s Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake, also known as "Sword Lake," before exploring the narrow streets to experience local life. After the tour, return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2: Full-Day Tour to Ninh Binh
After breakfast, we will drive 90km south of Hanoi to Ninh Binh, the ancient capital of Vietnam. Our first adventure is a boat ride through the stunning Tam Coc Caves, often referred to as “Halong Bay on Land” due to its limestone karsts set amidst lush paddy fields. After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, we will visit Hoa Lu, the site of the former kings' palace from the 10th century, and explore the Dinh and Le temples. The tour concludes with a visit to the serene Bich Dong Pagoda. We will then return to Hanoi for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Saigon City Tour
Following breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Upon arrival, our local guide will assist with the transfer to the downtown area where you will check into your hotel. We will then start a city tour with a visit to the War Remnants Museum, showcasing Vietnam's struggle for independence. Next, we will visit the Reunification Palace and see the exterior of the Notre Dame Cathedral, followed by a stop at the Central Post Office. The day ends with free time for shopping at Ben Thanh Market. Overnight stay in Saigon.
Day 4: Explore Cu Chi Tunnels
After breakfast, we will head to the historic Cu Chi Tunnels, an extensive underground network used during the Vietnam War. A short introductory video will provide insight into how the tunnels were constructed, followed by an opportunity to crawl through a section of the tunnels to experience their narrowness and heat. After exploring the tunnels, we will stop for lunch at a local restaurant before returning to Saigon. The rest of the day is at your leisure, with options to explore the city or enjoy its nightlife.
